BIRDIE’S FAVORITE APPLE BROWNIES

Cream together

1 Cup of softened butter,
2 Cups of sugar,
Add 2 beaten eggs

Blend in 

2 Cups of flour
1 Teaspoon baking soda
½ Teaspoon salt
2 Teaspoons of cinnamon
6-8 Sentinel Pine Apples

Grease a 9 X 11 inch pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until done.
ENJOY!

CINNAMON APPLE PIZZA

• 1 Tablespoon of oil
• ½ Cup of water
• 5 to 6 Sentinel Pine Apples,
peeled, cored and sliced

¾ Cups of sugar
3 to 4 Tablespoons of cinnamon
Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.),
Optional, just enough to cover top of pizza


1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Add ¼ cup of sugar to the flour mixture of the basic pizza dough, or sprinkle sugar on top of shaped pizza dough.

2. Lightly oil a large skillet. Add water and apples and cook over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally until water is almost evaporated.

3. Add remaining ½ cup of sugar and cinnamon, stir and remove from heat.

4. Spread apple mixture over pizza and top with cheese, if desired.

5. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

BASIC PIZZA DOUGH

FLOUR
WATER
YEAST

 


Mix all ingredients together, let rise for 1 hour.

APPLE CRISP

5 Sentinel Pine Apples, peeled, cored
and cut into small chunks
3 Tablespoons of sugar
½ Teaspoon cinnamon

2 Cups of oatmeal (quick oats)
½ Cup of flour
½ to ¾ Cups brown sugar
¼ pound butter


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon. Place in a lightly greased dish.

3. Combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar and butter and mix until texture is crumbly.

4. Crumble crisp topping over apples.
 
5. Bake for 40 minutes, until bubbly. Let sit for 15–20 minutes before serving.
